Tile Shower remodel
There are three different materials used in building a shower. Fiberglass, cultured marble, and tile are the most common building materials used. Fiberglass being the cheapest, tile the most expensive, then there is cultured marble.
Other than tile being a little more stylish, cultured marble can save you approximately one thousand dollars and many love its ease in cleaning. Mock Plumbing removed a standard 36” x 36” fiberglass shower out and installed a 36” x 42” shower.
Cultured marble companies are able to make most any size and shape pieces. After the existing shower had been removed, the cultured marble company came out and measured. Within a week, they were out to install. Whereas a tile shower may take a tile person three days of construction to complete a shower, cultured marble is installed in one day.
