Gas Pressure Test
Installation of new gas piping or any alteration on an existing gas line requires a permit. Permits are usually issued by the local plumbing authority to either the owner of the property or to a master licensed plumber.
After the licensed plumber is done with the repair of the gas system, it must be pressurized to 5 psi and must remain more than 3 psi until the following day for the inspector. All new piping should be included in the inspection prior to covering any portion of it.
Testing gas line pressure, pulling out a permit as well as calling for inspection is just one of the services provided by your local licensed plumber, Mock Plumbing Repairs in Sugar Land.
